“My name is Lagusani Gopal goud, I’m from Hyderabad, India and I and sign my work under the artist name Gopi.
I find inspiration in the local tradition and I create art because Its my passion to create human figure filled with emotions. I specialize in Highly imaginative and I focus on Figurative. I also enjoy working with Acrylic and ink pen.
My art style is Traditional Indian figurative. I am very detail oriented and I create my art meticulously. I am motivated mostly by My mother. I’ve been creating art for over 50 years. My favorite artists are the classic Renaissance creators such as Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni, Leonardo da Vinci, Rafael Santi and I find their work to be a great and legendary! I connect with the art community by exposing my paintings style. My work has shown at local group exhibitions and in many magazines, such as Indian magazine “Swathi” and “Andra Jyothi”, for which I’ve been creating illustrations for over 40 years.
When people see my work, I hope they experience lots of positive impressions and that it will work on their imagination.”
