I just started to create a new series of paintings. This time I am inspired by Military, especially the Air Force. The new series of my paintings will be devoted mainly to military helicopters. The Boeing AH-64 Apache helicopter was my first choice. Its silhouette slowly begins to emerge in the painting.
The AH-64 Apache is the US Army’s most advanced multi-role combat helicopter and a growing number of international defense forces. For the first time Boeing delivered the Apache AH-64A to U.S.Army in January 1984. Since this time, the U.S. Army and other countries have received more than 2,200 AH-64 Apache attack helicopters. Boeing’s global customers for the Apache include such countries as Egypt, Greece, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, the Netherlands, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.
Needless to say, painting this model of helicopter is a real challenge for me. I can’t wait to put all the layers of the paint and present it in its full glory! It’s being painted in my characteristic style of expressive abstraction with elements of realism and an element of photographic negative effect. It will be painted in an exceptionally manly style.
When I finish painting, it will be available for purchase, but you can prebook it even now. I’m painting the picture with acrylic paints on cotton canvas stretched over a wooden frame with the dimensions of 50 cm by 70 cm. It will look impressive in any interior. It will please an eye of every military enthusiast, soldier and not only! If you want to add this very masculine decor to your interior, feel free to reach out to me!
